"Tree of Life" 2011

commissioned work

As far as I am concerned, working with clients to create work--- something just for them--- is what it's all about.

It could be a small stained glass panel for a rented therapy office or a huge wall of glass for a place of worship.

It could be a scraf made as a gift for someone facing a health challenge, or a silk hanging for an empty wall.

Everyone deserves to have their vision actualized, and I consider it my job to do whatever I can to make that happen.

I have been working with people to make art for three decades. I consider creative problem solving a major piece of the process.

What do you think you want?
What is the feeling or the environment that you are hoping to create?

I consider it my job to ask questions and to offter possible solutions, ultimately coming up with something that works for you.

"One of the most enjoyable and unexpected aspects of getting this 'Tree of Life' stained glass panel for our office was how much Mark and Nancy made us feel like collaborators in the process... They were patient guides throughout, sharing their expertise and encouraging our creative input. All in all, it was delightful working with them."
